The Depths ~ Jeanne Guyon

“I would like to address this chapter to to those of you who may not be able to read. Because you cannot read, you may feel that you are in a weaker state than most Christians. You may feel you are unqualified to know the depths of your lord. But, in fact, you are really blessed. The blessing in not being able to read is that prayer may become your reading! Do you know know that the greatest book is Jesus Christ Himself? He is a Book who has been written on within and without. He will teach you all things. Read Him!
The first thing you must learn, dear friend, is that ‘the Kingdom of God is within you.’” (Luke 17:21)

A Word of Encouragement

The role of the church is to cultivate people who “can risk being peaceful in a violence world, risk being kind in a competitive world, risk being faithful in an age of cynicism, risk being gentle among those who admire the tough, risk love when it may not be returned, because we have the confidence that in Christ we have been reborn into a new reality.” –John Howard Yoder

Going to or Being Church

Video of the moment....

So Here's My Question?

If the people of your church were to show up on Sunday morning, and “the show” were canceled for the morning, would they know what to do?
